Brett- March

Brett is the director of the Collingswood (NJ) Public Library, a part-time PhD student in Library and Information Science at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, the treasurer of the New Jersey Library Association, Chair of the ALA Future Perfect Presidential Task Force, and a co-founder and editor of In the Library with the Lead Pipe.  Back when he had spare time, he used to practice yoga several times a week (he even became a certified instructor) and often ran barefoot through the streets of his home town.

His favorite writers are Martin Amis, Lester Bangs, Warren Buffett, Atul Gawande, Bill James, Rany Jazyerli, Judith Martin, Alice Munro, Mark Pilgrim, and David Foster Wallace.

His favorite color is orange and he is usually pretty joyful, but generally not in an annoying way.

  1. Wow… Just saw this today.

I was at the Collingswood Book Festival yesterday, I think I saw him , but I was very busy. (My partner is part of the Philly Liars Club, the only member of that professional writer’s group that lives in NYC. )

  2. Look at those arms! Wow.

  3. Great sideplank! I work at a Library in Iowa…I love a few of the creative pictures in this! Wonderful idea and wonderful group to support!

  4. Heather

Wow. . .all that and a lover of the color orange, too! SCRUMPTIOUS! :-)
