The End

As of Monday, February 6th, 2012, our sales campaign is officially closed. We are no longer selling our calendar. We would like to thank everyone for their generous support either by making a purchase or by simply spreading the word about it. This project was much, much more successful than any of us ever imagined.

We were mentioned in a very long list of media outlets including The Village Voice, The New Yorker, The Guardian (UK), Oprah’s blog, The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times, Glamour, Bust and a few international publications as well including Filament and Vogue Italia. Purchases were mailed to more than 500 different locations worldwide.  In terms of final tallies, we sold over 1,500 copies, raised more than $21,000 and now have over 1,000 fans on our Facebook page.

We set out to raise awareness of our profession, to help break stereotypes about it, and to do a greater good at the same time. I think we can all agree: mission accomplished.
